England Students loose out 28-7 to France Universities over the weekend.

England Students will face France Universities this Saturday 11th April, KO 6:30pm local time at Stade Paul Chandon, Épernay Rugby Club.

So another university year is nearly at an end, but the BUCS rugby season concluded in sensational style at Twickenham as Leeds Beckett were crowned the best team in the land.

England Students will face France Universities on Saturday 11th April following their 32-16 win over Portugal XV in January.

Leeds Beckett produced a sensational second half comeback to beat Loughborough 23-31 and secure the BUCS Championship Trophy at Twickenham.

Stepping out at the home of English rugby always starts off as a dream. For some young rugby players, they will never get the chance.Some, however, will and this Friday sees the BUCS Championship Trophy final return to Twcikenham as Leeds Beckett University take on Northern rivals Loughborough University.

In the lead up to the full international England Students versus France Students on April 11th, the two set up’s Development teams went head to head at West Park Leeds RUFC.

In the period leading up to the BUCS Finals next Friday, the England Students Coaching and Management team have selected a strong squad of players to represent England Students Development against France Students Development this Friday 20th March.

We finally know our finalists: Loughborough v Leeds Beckett. The top two teams in the North will battle it out for the BUCS Championship trophy at Twickenham on Friday, March 27th after their semi-final wins this week. Here is a round-up of the action.

England Students will face Portugal on Saturday 24th of January in the University Stadium of Lisbon, kicking off at 6pm.

The Christmas holidays are over for the University students up and down the country which means University Rugby is on the verge of resuming for another year.
