The Christmas holidays have come for the University students up and down the UK which means the BUCS Rugby Union season takes a break until the New Year and Talking Rugby Union looks at the progress the key teams have made so far this season in their divisions.

We are now in the penultimate week of 2014 BUCS Rugby Union action and after last week’s mixture of cup and league fixtures, we are firmly focusing on league matches once again.

Week eight of BUCS Rugby Union has arrived and we have some league fixtures, but mainly it’s all about the cups as we draw closer to the business end of the competitions.
