As we race towards the spring the 2013/14 BUCS rugby season is now just over a week away from its climactic finish at Twickenham stadium on the 28th of March.

On a crisp, sunny BUCS Wednesday playoff rugby kicked-off all around the country as the University Rugby Championship quarter-finals got underway.

It’s that time of the BUCS season again! With the regular fixtures now completed the real hard work begins, as sides in both the north and south of the country have taken their places in the quarter finals this week.

The famous Anti-Assassins, who now go by the Wooden Spoon AAs after joining forces with the Wooden Spoon Society in 2005, were back in action last week as the invitational side travelled south to face Cambridge University.
