Crusaders bounced back after last weeks defeat to Sharks with a 30-32 victory over Highlanders at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin. Second-half tries from Tim Perry, Nepo Laulala and Nemani Nadolo saw them overturn a 12-10 half-time deficit after a first half which saw Richie McCaw sin-binned and Saders unable to make 62% territory dominance count.

Hayden Parker kicked all his side's points as the Highlanders earned a hard-fought 18-16 win over the Hurricanes to keep themselves well in the Super 15 play-off hunt.

The Highlanders overcame a poor start to beat the Bulls 27-20 in Dunedin on Friday, a win which lifts them into fifth place in the table.
