Saracens have confirmed that Wales international Dominic Day will join the Aviva Premiership club on a two-year contract.
Day made his professional rugby debut in 2006 for Scarlets and switch to Bath Rugby in 2012 after making 92 appearances for the Welsh regional side. During his five year stint with Bath, the 31-year-old played for the Recreation Ground outfit 110 times.
After spending a short stint with the Japan club Toyota Verblitz, Day joined Super Rugby side Rebels in 2017 but will move to Allianz Park at the start of the next season.
"We believe Dom will prove to be a fine addition to the group and we are delighted that he has decided to join our club," Saracens rugby director Mark McCall said.
"He is a proven Premiership player, has over 200 career appearances, and who, at the age of 31, is in his prime.
"On the field, he is precisely the kind of big, dominant lock forward we have been seeking to bolster our squad, and off the field, he is exactly the type of character who we believe will thrive in our culture."
Day will join the likes of his fellow Wales international Liam Williams, Australian lock Will Skelton, Northampton flanker Calum Clark and France international hooker Christopher Tolofua as the new signings ahead of the next season.
Day has featured in three Tests for Wales after making his debut in 2015 and was also part of their World Cup squad.
