Noah Caluori set to miss PREM start

Noah Caluori is expected to miss the start of the new Gallagher PREM season after undergoing surgery on a wrist injury he played through during his breakthrough campaign for Saracens.

The 19-year-old Saracens wing confirmed that he has had surgery after carrying the wrist problem for eight months.

Caluori delayed treatment until the end of the season, allowing him to complete a standout campaign for club and country. However, the operation now leaves him facing a spell on the sidelines ahead of the new PREM season, which begins on September 26.

Saracens Wing Faces Injury Setback

Caluori emerged as one of the most exciting young players in English rugby last season, topping the PREM try-scoring charts with 18 tries.

His form for Saracens earned him a first senior England call-up, and he marked his international debut with a try against Fiji. He later featured from the bench against Argentina.

Posting after surgery, Caluori said he had been playing with the injury for most of the campaign and would work hard to come back stronger.

“Surgery done,” Caluori posted on his social media handle Instagram.

“Been playing with this injury for eight months now. Gonna be working hard to get back stronger than before.”
