Alex Newsome and Isi Naisarani scored tries in the final quarter as Force edged out Jaguares with a thrilling 6-16 win in their Super Rugby clash at Estadio Jose Amalfitani on Saturday.

The first 30 minutes went without a point as Force managed to overcome a sin-bin to Richie Arnold. Scrum half Ian Prior kicked the first points in the game with a 35th minute penalty as Force took a 3-0 lead at half time.

Juan Martin Hernandez helped Jaguares level the scores with a penalty at the start of the second half. Prior and Martin Hernandez exchanged penalties as the scores remained levelled at 6-6 heading into the final 15 minutes.

This is when Newsome and Naisarani scored tries to complete a 10 point victory for Force.

Despite, the win Force are at fourth in Australian Conference while Jaguares are third in Africa 2 Conference.

Force will host Highlanders in the next round on 20th May while Jaguares' next game will be against Brumbies on 28th May.
