Western Force have confirmed that scrum-half Henry Robertson has signed a new two-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2028.

Henry Robertson Contract Extension Confirmed

Robertson has been one of the standout performers for the Force this season and has established himself as a key player at scrum-half. The 26-year-old has played eight matches in the current campaign and started the last five alongside fly-half Ben Donaldson.

His recent form has been especially eye-catching, highlighted by a two-try performance in the comeback win over the Crusaders.

Robertson has made a strong impact with both ball in hand and without it. His box-kicking has become an important part of the Force’s game, while his defensive work and support play have added further value. The scrum-half has also shown his ability to contribute in attack, helping the team with sharp running and support lines.

His progress was also recognised beyond club rugby when he featured for Australia A last year in a win over Japan XV. Earlier in his career, he represented Australia at the 2019 World Rugby Under-20 Championship, where the team finished as runners-up.

Robertson said he was delighted to extend his stay in Perth, adding that he enjoys life in Western Australia and wants to continue helping the Force chase big results this season and beyond.

“I’m very excited to have re-signed with the Force,” Robertson said.

“I’ve really enjoyed my footy this year, particularly over the past month or so, and to now have the security of knowing my future is here at the club is a great feeling and something I’m very happy about.

“I love life in the west. Perth is a beautiful spot."
