The Brumbies ran in seven tries to open their Super Rugby season in style with a 52-10 drubbing of the Hurricanes at Geo Stadium.

All seven tries were scored by different players with the home side never looking back after Tevita Kuridrani got their season up and running 15 minutes in.

Tomas Cubelli added a second and David Pocock a third, with the bonus point secured five minutes after the break by Scott Fardy.

Stephen Moore then got in on the act, with Josh Mann-Rea and Sam Carter also dotting down when their side were down to 14 men, with Matt Toomua in the sin bin.
