Champions New Zealand ended the HSBC Sevens World Series in style by winning their fifth cup in London.

England saw off Sevens kings New Zealand at Twickenham on Saturday with a 15-12 victory.

After battling through both fierce competition and torrid conditions at the 25th annual Heineken Kinsale 7’s Tournament it was Wooden Spoon representative teams that won both the men’s elite competition and the women’s competition.

Talking Rugby Union’s sponsored sevens team the Red Panda 7’s battled through difficult, misty conditions in Cork, Ireland at the 25th annual Heineken Kinsale 7’s tournament, finishing the weekend as Day 1 winners, unfortunately losing out in the semi-finals of the main competition.

The Heineken Kinsale 7s kicks off next weekend 3rd & 4th May with a full line up of competitive 7s running rugby and full social programme as over 10,000 visitors are expected in the seaside town.

Bournemouth 7s Festival is rapidly approaching and Team Entries and Tickets to the 7th edition of this event are selling out in record time. There are now only 10 Rugby Spaces remaining across Men’s and Women’s Social Cups.

Amidst emotional scenes in Port Elizabeth, South Africa came from 14 points down to win the final of the Cell C South Africa Sevens 17.14 against New Zealand and win the title honouring recently passed Nelson Mandela.

The 2014 Bournemouth 7s will be the seventh edition of the Festival and to mark this special anniversary, a spectacular prize is on offer which could be won by any team entering.
