Thomas Banks and Andy Muirhead scored double as Brumbies completed a 15-39 victory over Jaguares in their Super Rugby clash at Estadio Jose Amalfitani.

Lock Sam Carter (12') and Banks (24' and 28') were the try scorers for Brumbies in the first half while Wharenui Hawera added a conversion and a penalty apiece to take them to 20 points at the end of the first half.

Tomas Lezana was the lone try scorer for Jaguares in the first 40 minutes as Santiago Gonzalez Iglesias kicked the extra. Fly-half Nicolas Sanchez kicked an early second minute penalty before he was forced off the field in the seventh minute.

Henry Speight further extended Brumbies' lead in the second half and when Muirhead crossed over twice in the final quarter, the visitors claimed a 10-39 lead.

A desperate effort from replacement Guido Petti Pagadizaval with his 77th minute from cross over took Jaguares to 15 points as Brumbies completed a 24 point victory.

Brumbies top the Australian Conference after registering their fifth win this season while Jaguares are positioned third in Africa 2 Conference.
