Mike Sherry and Jeremy Loughman extend stay at Munster

Munster have confirmed that Mike Sherry and Jeremy Loughman have penned new deals with the Pro 14 club.

Hooker Sherry, a product of the Munster Academy has been with the Thomond Park outfit since 2009 and has racked up 99 appearances since then. He has signed a one-year contract extension that will keep him with Munster until 2019.

Meanwhile, prop Loughman joined Munster from Leinster in December 2017 on a short-term three-month loan but now has extended his stay until the end of the season.

Garryowen skipper Neil Cronin, who has been in impressive form will join Munster one a one-year contract having previously featured for them on four occasions during the 2014/15 season.

Also, it is reported that Munster head Coach Johann van Graan is looking to sign Bulls centre Dries Swanepoel on a short-term contract as an injury cover.

Munster are currently second in Conference A of the Pro 14 Championship Table with 12 wins from 19 games.
