Zebre 20 - 40 Glasgow Warriors, Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi

Glasgow Warriors ran six-try riot as they went on to defeat Zebre 20-40 in their Pro 14 encounter at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi.

The win has taken Glasgow's lead over second-placed Munster Rugby to 15 points in Conference A while Zebre continue to languish at the bottom.

Matt Fagerson opened Glasgow's account with a sixth-minute try and Finn Russell slotted the conversion to make it 0-7 but Zebre's response came in the ninth minute when Renato Giammarioli crossed over that was improved by Carlo Canna that made the scoreline 7-7.

Lee Jones scored the first of his two tries at the start of the second quarter and Glasgow's momentum was aided by a sin-bin to Canna that also resulted in a penalty try for the visitors. A 33rd minute penalty from Marcello Violi reduced Zebre's trail to nine points but Glasgow went on to achieve the bonus point inside the first half with George Horne scoring a try in the 40th minute.

Maxime Mbanda helped Zebre made a brief comeback with a 42nd minute try but his efforts were negated by Jones' second touchdown 11 minutes later.

The trend continued in the final quarter as well with the hosts sending Tommaso d'Apice over the line in the 61st minute but Nick Grigg responded with a try of his own one minute later to complete a 20-40 victory for Dave Rennie's side.
