Since then, the Dumfries Saints product has developed into one of the club’s most promising forwards.
Glasgow Hooker Rewarded After Breakthrough Rise
The 23-year-old made a strong impact during the 2023-24 campaign and played his part in Glasgow’s run to the United Rugby Championship title that season.
He also continued his progress during the current campaign with important contributions in attack and defence. Hiddleston earned attention for scoring in notable wins over Sale Sharks, Toulouse and Edinburgh during a strong run of form for Glasgow.

Hiddleston previously represented Scotland at Under-20 level and was called into the wider senior Scotland setup ahead of the 2026 Six Nations.
He also featured for Scotland A in their 24-24 draw with Italy XV in February, another sign of his growing reputation.
“I’m absolutely buzzing – I’m delighted to be staying,” Hiddleston told glasgowwarriors.org.
“It’s a really exciting to be part of this club. I’ve learnt so much already and I’m loving being here. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
“I was learning a lot when I first came in, and I definitely feel like I’m still learning. You can see the experience that we’ve got here though and it’s showing week in, week out – we’re competing well and winning big games, and I just want to keep on progressing."
