Ally Miller has signed a new contract with Glasgow Warriors as the club continues preparations for the United Rugby Championship playoffs.
The experienced forward will remain at Scotstoun after becoming a trusted member of the squad since arriving in 2021.
Ally Miller Extends Glasgow Warriors Stay
Miller has made 47 appearances for Glasgow Warriors since joining from Edinburgh in the summer of 2021. The 30-year-old made his debut in October that year against the Sharks and has since developed into a dependable option across the forward pack.
Comfortable across the back row, Miller has also shown his flexibility this season by starting in the second row during Glasgow’s win over Cardiff before switching back to the back row in the victory over Ulster that secured top spot in the league standings.
One of his memorable moments for the club came in December 2023, when he scored his first Glasgow try in dramatic fashion with a 40-metre effort against Aviron Bayonnais.
Away from the men’s squad, Miller has also contributed to the wider Glasgow setup by working as lineout coach with the club’s women’s side during their Celtic Challenge campaign.
Miller said he was excited to continue with the club, adding that the squad’s momentum, the quality of the coaching environment and the emergence of young players all made him eager to stay and keep contributing.
“I’m really excited,” Miller told glasgowwarriors.org.
“The momentum we have here as a squad is brilliant, and I’ve loved contributing to this group throughout the last five years.
"I’m looking forward to continuing to get my head down and do my bit for the boys".
