The Western Force have confirmed the signing of experienced prop Sef Fa’agase for the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season.

The 32-year-old arrives after two stints with the Queensland Reds, where he amassed over 90 appearances including a solid 2025 campaign.

Fa’agase brings significant Super Rugby experience—playing 88 matches for the Reds and brief spells with the Highlanders and Rebels.

Known for his ability to cover both loosehead and tighthead positions, he is expected to bolster the Force’s tight-five depth.

Fa’agase echoed the positive outlook, stating he was “excited for the new challenge” and ready to contribute both on and off the field.

“I’m excited for a new challenge and to live in a new city with my family. We’re really looking forward to experiencing something new," he told the club's official website.

“I’m also excited to be coached by Simon Cron, who I’ve heard a lot of good things about. I believe working with him can help take my game to the next level.

“Within the group, I believe I can bring experience to the Force. I’ve been playing Super Rugby since 2015. I’m coming to compete but also help the other props and learn off them too.”
