Wales have made three changes to their starting lineup for the upcoming Six Nations match against Ireland, with fly-half Dan Edwards returning to the team as they attempt to end a prolonged losing streak in the championship.

Dan Edwards Returns For Wales Six Nations Clash

Dan Edwards has been recalled at fly-half after missing the previous match, replacing the injured Sam Costelow. Edwards previously started Wales’ opening two Six Nations fixtures against England and France before being dropped from the lineup.

His return comes as Wales seek greater control in attack ahead of their trip to Dublin, where they will face an Ireland side that has regained momentum after recovering from an opening-round defeat.

Wales Make Three Changes To Starting XV

Head coach Steve Tandy has made two additional changes to the side. James Botham replaces the injured Taine Plumtree in the back row, making his first start of the current championship campaign.

Alex Mann shifts to blindside flanker to accommodate Botham’s inclusion, while Ellis Mee returns on the wing in place of Gabriel Hamer-Webb. Mee had featured in the earlier rounds of the tournament and now returns to the starting lineup.

Wales Aim To End Six Nations Losing Streak

Wales enter the match seeking their first Six Nations victory in three years, having endured a run of 14 consecutive defeats in the competition. Ireland, meanwhile, have won their last two matches against Italy and England after losing their opening game.
