Brumbies scored two tries in the final 10 minutes as they came from behind to seal a 25-17 win over Brumbies in their Super Rugby encounter at GIO Stadium on Friday.

Wing Henry Speight and Wharenui Hawera scored the tries for Brumbies in the 13th and 32nd minute respectively to take them to a 10-0 lead Force fought back through a late try from Heath Tessmann and a conversion from Jono Lance at stroke of half time to bring down the gap to just three points.

Force gathered momentum into the second half with wing Chance Peni strolling past the post at the start of the second half and Lance conversion took them to a four point lead.

Hawera's penalty in the 63rd minute was negated by Lance kick-off as the game headed into the final 10 minutes where Force let it slip away with a yellow card to Ross Haylett-Petty.

Brumbies capitalised on the advantage as Kyle Godwin and replacement Robbie Abel went past the line in the 72nd and 79th minute respectively to seal an eight point win for Brumbies.

Brumbies now top the Australian group with six points from three games while Force slip to third position.
