Brumbies 31-14 Force, GIO Stadium
Scorecard

Brumbies came up a clinical five-try performance as they defeated Western Force 31-14 in the latest round of Super Rugby AU tournament at GIO Stadium.

This is sixth win for Brumbies from seven games as they consolidated the top place with 28 points while Force's winless tournament continues as they lost all their seven games.

The Force were the first team to score the points after Fergus Lee-Warner went past Allan Ala'alatoa for the opening try in the 9th minute and Ian Prior followed with the conversion.

Force had the bulk possession early in the game but could not translate into points while Brumbies had their frustration when two of their tries were disallowed from Alaalatoa and Andy Muirhead but they closed the opening half strong with Tom Wright and Thomas Banks touching down before the break to give them a 10-7 lead.

Brumbies extended the momentum into the second half when Miller dotted down after a long pass from Nic White but his effort were cancelled out when Jono Lance touched down for the visitors in the 55th minute making the scoreline 17-14.

The home side sealed the game in the final quarter following tries from Len Ikitau and Muirhead to complete the 31-14 bonus point victory.
