Worcester have announced the signing of Samoa international prop James Johnston.

The Warriors will become Johnston's fourth Aviva Premiership club following spells with Harlequins, Saracens and Wasps.

Wasps said on Tuesday that Johnston, who has been troubled by injuries in recent months, would be leaving them to pursue alternative options.

And Worcester have confirmed he will join up with them immediately.

Warriors rugby director Dean Ryan said: " The scrum is an area where we've lacked a bit of experience, so we are delighted James has agreed to be a part of our journey.

"He has a wealth of top-class Premiership and European game time under his belt and will add great depth to our front row."
