Worcester have added four up-and-coming players to their squad, with Monty Oliver, Zach Armstrong, Lochie Glackin and Jack Hopson all joining the club.

Oliver and Armstrong both have previous links with Worcester after coming through the Warriors Junior Academy. Their return comes as the club prepares for the relaunch of its academy pathway, which head coach Matt Everard described as vital to Worcester’s long-term future.

Monty Oliver And Zach Armstrong Return To Sixways

Oliver rejoins Worcester after spending time at Hartpury College and has also represented Scotland U18s. He said returning to the club was special because he grew up supporting the Warriors and had previously been part of the academy system.

Armstrong has developed his rugby at Cardiff Metropolitan University, playing in BUCS Super Rugby and the Welsh Premiership. He said coming back to Worcester after his academy experience made the move particularly meaningful.

Lochie Glackin And Jack Hopson Join Warriors

Glackin arrives from Denstone College and the Leicester Tigers academy. The fly-half has represented Scotland U18s, including at this year’s U18 Six Nations in France.

Hopson joins Worcester after two seasons in France with Valence Romans. The centre said he was excited to return to England and described Worcester as a club with ambition, strong values and a positive environment.
