Ireland have made five changes to their lineup for the upcoming Six Nations clash against Wales in Dublin, with Ulster back-rower Nick Timoney handed his first start in the championship.
Nick Timoney First Six Nations Start For Ireland
Timoney will start at openside flanker for Ireland in the round-four fixture after making an impression in earlier appearances during the tournament. The 30-year-old Ulster forward replaces Josh van der Flier in the starting lineup following strong performances in Ireland’s matches against France, Italy and England.

Ireland Make Five Changes For Wales Clash
Head coach Andy Farrell has introduced several adjustments to the side for the Dublin encounter. Jack Conan returns at blindside flanker after missing the previous match due to illness, while Tom O’Toole and Ronan Kelleher come into the front row alongside Tadhg Furlong.
Jacob Stockdale replaces the injured James Lowe on the left wing in the only change to Ireland’s backline. The rest of the back division remains largely unchanged, with Jamison Gibson-Park set to earn his 50th international cap after an influential performance in the previous round.

Several experienced players have been rotated within the matchday squad. Joe McCarthy and Josh van der Flier move to the bench, while Dan Sheehan has been rested and Jeremy Loughman is unavailable due to injury.
Ulster scrum-half Nathan Doak is in line to make his international debut from the bench, while Tom Stewart and Tom Farrell could also feature for the first time in the championship.
