The Hurricanes completely decimated the Sharks with a 41-0 triumph at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington to book a home 2016 Super Rugby semi-final spot.

The New Zealand side ran six tries, while the South African side drew a blank.

Prop Loni Uhila (16), fullback James Marshall (20), winger Jason Woodward (46), lock Vaea Fifita (49), scrum-half TJ Perenara (58) and flanker Brad Shields (80) crossed over the try line for the hosts.

Fly-half Beauden Barrett managed to successfully convert three out of five tries in addition to scoring a penalty on the 13th minute. Woodward converted the final try for the home side.

The Wellington side will host the Chiefs next weekend for the semi-final clash.
