Kings showed more intent in the second half as they amassed three tries in the first 10 minutes with Yaw Penxe, Malcolm Jaer and Makazole Mapimpi going past the line to which a lone try from Dane Haylett-Petty was the reply from Force.

Jaer upped the ante further with two more tries in the 61st and 63rd minutes for the Kings but Force managed to get away with a three point victory after they were aided by a penalty try and two more tries from Alex Newsome and Ben McCalman.
