Reds 26-40 Force, Suncorp Stadium
Scorecard

A clinical performance from Force saw them secure a 26-40 victory over Queensland Reds in their Super Rugby clash at Suncorp Stadium on Friday.

The result also means Force has climbed to the third position in Australian Conference with Reds moving to the fourth place.

Duncan Paia'Aua scored the opening try for Reds in the fourth minute but Force bounced back with a touchdown from Ross Haylett-Petty in the 37th minute with Peter Grant adding two penalties and a conversion to take them to 5-13 lead at half time.

Lukhan Tui gave a head start for Reds when he crossed over in the second half as the gap between the two teams came down to one point.

However, Reds scrum-half Nick Frisby's sin-bin changed the complexion of the game as it also resulted in a penalty try for Force.

Even though, a double try from Stephen Moore in the 50th and 58th minute provided advantage to Reds, Marcel Brache and replacement Tatafu Polota-Nau replied back with tries of their own for the visitors and Grant added further seven points to ensure a 14 point victory for Force, which is also their fourth in 12 games this season.
