Dragons have confirmed the signing of Samoa international scrum-half Ere Enari, with the experienced number nine set to join the Welsh club this summer.
Enari will move to Rodney Parade after completing his current campaign with the Hurricanes, giving Dragons another significant addition ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 28-year-old brings strong experience from New Zealand rugby, having also played for the Crusaders and Moana Pasifika in Super Rugby.
His move adds proven quality at scrum-half as Dragons continue reshaping their squad for next season.
Ere Enari Super Rugby And Samoa Career
Across his career, Enari has made 57 Super Rugby appearances and also featured for Canterbury and Hawke’s Bay in New Zealand’s National Provincial Championship. During his time with the Crusaders, he was part of a highly successful period in which the club won five straight titles.
On the international stage, Enari has earned 10 caps for Samoa and was part of their squad for the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France. He was first called up by Samoa in 2022 and had previously represented New Zealand Under-20s.
Enari said he and his wife are looking forward to a new chapter in Wales, adding that they are excited to connect with teammates, supporters and the local community in Gwent.
