Dragons RFC have confirmed the signing of New Zealand back-row forward Terrell Peita ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 25-year-old will join the Welsh side at Rodney Parade after completing his current spell with the Blues in Super Rugby Pacific, giving Dragons another addition as they prepare for the new campaign.

Peita arrives with experience from several teams in New Zealand rugby and a reputation as a versatile and physical loose forward.
Capable of playing across the back row, he is expected to add mobility and power to the Dragons pack.
He is the second new arrival confirmed by Dragons ahead of 2026/27, following the earlier signing of Anzelo Tuitavuki.
Terrell Peita Rugby Career And Achievements
Peita has previously played for Northland, Auckland and Manawatu in New Zealand, while also spending time in Major League Rugby with the New England Free Jacks in the United States. One of his notable achievements came in 2025 when he was named Northland’s Forward of the Year.
He also captained the New Zealand Maori Under-18 side and was selected in New Zealand’s training group for the 2020 World Rugby Under-20 Championship before that tournament was cancelled.
