Crusaders 66-0 Rebels, Christchurch Stadium

Sevu Reece and Braydon Ennor scored hat-tricks as Crusaders blanked Rebels 66-0 in their Super Rugby clash at Christchurch Stadium on Saturday.

Reece (9') started the proceedings with a ninth minute try and David Havili (16') along with Ennor (30' and 40') followed the suits as Crusaders had a terrific first half. With Richie Mo'unga kicking three conversions, the home side led by 26-0 before the break.

As Rebels were struggling to find a breakthrough, Bryn Hall (49'), Reece (52' and 75'), Ennor (57'), Havili (61') and Ryan Crotty (80') ensured there was no looking back for the Crusaders.

Mo'unga also had a good outing kicking four out of the five conversions in the second half with Crotty kicking the extras on the fifth occasion as Crusaders sealed a 66-0 comfortable win.

The result means Crusaders have consolidated their top position in the New Zealand Conference with 58 points while Rebels are at second place in Australian group with 34 points.
