Australia international David Pocock is set to make his return to Super Rugby after almost two years as he was named in the starting line-up of Brumbies for the clash against New South Wales Waratahs to be played in Canberra.
The Saturday's encounter will be even more special for the 29-year-old as it will be his 100th appearance in Super Rugby having played 69 for Western Force previously. His inclusion comes despite him unable to complete full training in the last two months due to a knee injury.
Sam Carter is set to continue his recovery from a concussion and will miss the clash allowing Blake Enever and Rory Arnold to build on the second-row.
Tom Cusack makes way for Pocock as he moves to the bench along with Mees Erasmus, who is set for a debut. Kyle Godwin also returns to the replacements list that also has Robbie Abel, who makes a comeback from a rib injury.
Brumbies are currently fourth in Australian Conference with two apiece of wins and defeats.
