Arscott Pens West Country Switch

Bath have announced the signing of full-back Luke Arscott from their Aviva Premiership rivals Exeter.

Arscott, 29, has agreed a two-year deal at the Recreation Ground and he looks set to fill the vacancy created by Nick Abendanon's departure to French club Clermont Auvergne.

"We are really pleased Luke is joining us," Bath head coach Mike Ford said.

"We had a gap in the squad for a more experienced out-and-out full-back, and Luke fits the bill perfectly.

"He has got all the attributes you would expect, and he will be a very good fit at the club."
