New Zealand international Vaea Fifita becomes the latest signing of Wasps ahead of the 2021/22 season.

“I can't wait to get started on what promises to be a very exciting journey with Wasps. I will be working hard to help the team achieve as much success as possible.

“My family and I look forward to experiencing everything that England has to offer.”

Fifita, who can play at lock and flanker made his international debut for New Zealand in 2017 against Samoa and has gone on to play 11 Tests with his last appearance coming during the 2019 Rugby Championship.

Wasps head coach Lee Blackett is excited about having the services of Fifita and is confident that his experience will be beneficial to the club.

“We have been looking for a quality lock and back-rower and Vaea fits the bill perfectly. We are therefore delighted to be able to bring an experienced international forward like him on board for next season," he said.

“We are all excited to work with him and the strong group of forwards we have at the Club for next season.”
