Waratahs have announced that wing Dylan Pietsch has been granted an immediate release from his contract ahead of the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season.
Pietsch was a member of the Australia men's rugby sevens squad at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo and made his senior club debut with Waratahs in 2021.
The 26-year-old went on to represent Waratahs in 38 Super Rugby games across three seasons and now has joined Western Force on a multi-year contract.
NSW Waratahs CEO Paul Doorn thanked Pietsch for his contribution to the club in the last three seasons and wished him good luck on his future with Force.
“Dylan has been not only a great player but also an outstanding role model and ambassador during his time with the Waratahs,” Doorn told the club's official website.
“It is with deep respect for Dylan and the significant contribution he has made to our club, on and off the field, that we grant his request for a release.
“We understand the opportunity presented to him by another club is an appealing one for him and his family and we wish them all the best for the future.”
