Saracens have announced the short-term signing of fly-half Tiff Eden, strengthening their squad as they contend with a string of injuries.
Eden, who initially joined the club on a trial basis during the Premiership Rugby Cup campaign, has now been secured for the next three months.
The decision to bring in Eden comes as Saracens face a shortage in the fly-half position due to injuries to Louie Johnson, Alex Goode, and Tim Swiel. Eden is set to provide crucial cover for the Men in Black during this challenging period.
Eden began his professional rugby career with Nottingham in the Championship before making a move to Worcester Warriors. His performances caught attention, leading to a five-year stint with Bristol Bears, where he further honed his skills as a reliable fly-half.
After his time with Bristol, Eden spent two seasons playing for Zebre in the United Rugby Championship (URC), representing the Parma-based side with distinction.
This season, he returned to England, seeking opportunities that have now culminated in this exciting chapter with Saracens.
Eden’s addition comes just in time for Saracens’ European campaign. He is expected to be available for selection ahead of their crucial clash against the Vodacom Bulls this weekend.
Saracens are positioned fourth in the Gallagher Premiership table with four wins from seven matches.
