The 2026/27 Gallagher PREM fixture list has been confirmed, with the new season starting on September 25, 2026 and ending with the final at Twickenham on June 19, 2027.

Gallagher PREM Opening Weekend Fixtures

The new campaign will begin with Harlequins hosting Bath Rugby at Twickenham Stoop on Friday, September 25. On the same night, reigning champions Northampton Saints will begin their title defence at home against Newcastle Red Bulls.

The opening round continues on Saturday, September 26, with last season’s runners-up Exeter Chiefs welcoming Gloucester Rugby to Sandy Park. Sale Sharks will also face Bristol Bears in another early test between two competitive squads.

The first weekend concludes on Sunday, September 27, when Leicester Tigers take on Saracens in a heavyweight clash between two clubs with 17 league titles between them.

Gallagher PREM Derby Weekend Confirmed

The first derby weekend of the season will take place in Round 5 across the weekend of October 23.

Gloucester will host Bath at Kingsholm on Friday night, while Newcastle Red Bulls face Sale Sharks in a northern derby. Leicester Tigers will then meet Northampton Saints at Mattioli Woods Welford Road in the East Midlands derby.

Bristol Bears will also host Exeter Chiefs at Ashton Gate, before Harlequins welcome Saracens to Twickenham Stoop in one of the league’s most intense rivalries.

Big Game And Festive Fixtures

The festive period will again provide a major run of Gallagher PREM fixtures across Christmas and New Year.

Harlequins’ annual Big Game will take place on Monday, December 28, with Northampton Saints the opponents at Allianz Stadium. Before Christmas, Saints will host Exeter Chiefs in a repeat of last season’s final.

Gloucester will then open the new year by hosting Bristol Bears at Kingsholm on January 1.
