Will Roue signs first Bath contract

Bath Rugby have confirmed that Will Roue has signed his first professional contract with the club after impressing during the 2025/26 PREM Rugby Cup campaign.

Roue has committed his future to Bath after earning his first professional deal with the Blue, Black and White.

The young back made an impression during Bath’s PREM Rugby Cup run last season, becoming part of the matchday squad that reached the semi-final stage of the competition. His progress has now been rewarded with a place in the club’s senior academy set-up.

Bath Rugby Reward University Pathway Talent

Roue first came through Bath’s partnership with the University of Bath, a pathway that continues to offer talented players a route into the professional environment.

While representing Team Bath, he also earned selection for the England Universities side that faced French Universities, adding another important step to his development.

Roue said signing with Bath was a privilege and described the club as a world-class environment. He added that playing professional rugby had always been a dream and that he was looking forward to continuing his journey and development.
