Exeter Chiefs' Scotland international Stuart Hogg has marked an end to the speculation of him leaving the Gallagher Premiership club.

Hogg joined Exeter Chiefs from Glasgow Warriors ahead of the 2019/20 season and on his first year he went on to enjoy a double of Premiership and Champions Cup titles with the club. He has gone to make 47 appearances for them scoring 14 tries.

There were media reports circulating that the 29-year-old is set to make an exit from the Devon club at the end of the ongoing campaign but Hogg has quashed the rumours.

“Further to recent speculation about my future, I’m happy to say that I will be honouring my contract at Exeter Chiefs and I am massively excited about the future," he said in a statement released by the club.

"My family and I are very settled and I’m keen to win more titles here.”

Exeter Chiefs are positioned fifth in the Gallagher Premiership table with six wins from 10 games.
