Ospreys 20 - 14 Bristol

Sam Underhilll scored the decisive try in the 76th minute as Ospreys managed to overhaul Bristol challenge with a 20-14 victory in their Anglo-Welsh game on Saturday.

Fullback Dafydd Howells did not waste any time as he got Ospreys off the mark with a first minute try and number 10 Luke Price scored a successful conversion and a penalty to take the Welsh regional side to a 10-point lead.

Hooker Max Crumpton responded back with a cross over in the 19th minute while fly-half Billy Searle's conversion meant they went into half-time trailing by three points.

Ospreys managed to hold on to the lead as the game headed into the final quarter when Price scored his second penalty to extend the gap to six points.

A 73rd minute try from replacement Marc Jones followed by a conversion from Searle brought Bristol into the lead for the first time in the game.

However, their slender one-point lead was put to rest when Underhilll scored the second try for the Welsh regional side in the 76th minute and Price's conversion meant Ospreys secured a six-point win.

The game also marked the return of Wales scrum-half Rhys Webb, who was released from Wales Six Nations squad to get some match practice after recovering from an ankle injury.

Ospreys now move to second in Pool 2 and Bristol are placed third in Pool 3 with 10 and six points respectively from three games.
