Wales scrum-half Rhys Webb insisted that his team will not be pulled down by their losing streak against Australia when the two teams meet each other on Saturday.
Australia have won 28 out of the 39 encounters against Wales previously and also have a win percentage of 64.58 playing away from home against Rob Howley's men. Wales' last victory against Australia came eight years back and they have lost a number of senior players for Saturday's clash due to different reasons.
Despite, the odds are stacked against Wales, Webb believes Wales have a strong chance to break the jinx this time around, if they stick to basics.
"Obviously, there have been plenty of opportunities against Australia, but that's for you guys (media) to talk about - the narrow losses," the Ospreys and Wales number nine said.
"We certainly haven't been thinking about it these last two weeks.
"We are just going to concentrate on ourselves. We have learnt from our tour to New Zealand (in June). We talked about what we needed to do better. We know what we need to do, and we know we need to play for 80 minutes.
"We are professional rugby players, and we want to play games to win. It's all about winning. We are just concentrating on ourselves, and making sure we get our job done."
Australia have been going through an indifferent form since the 2015 World Cup final defeat to All Blacks. In the 10 games they have played, Michael Cheika's men managed just three wins.
However, in the recent Rugby Championship tournament they finished second to All Blacks despite not being in the best of form.
"They (Australia) have had their injuries, but they have got a lot of talent across the board," Webb added.
"We know how dangerous they are. Some of the individuals they've got in their team, they can create stuff from wherever on the field."
