Wallabies boosted by Ikitau and Suaalii return

Australia have received a major boost ahead of their two-Test tour of Argentina, with centres Len Ikitau and Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii both named in the Wallabies squad.

Head coach Les Kiss has selected a 34-man group for the matches in Jujuy and Mendoza.

Len Ikitau Returns for Argentina Tests

Ikitau returns after missing Australia’s two victories over Japan in Osaka and Townsville because of an ankle injury.

Suaalii has also been included after a minor hamstring strain kept him out of the Wallabies’ 56-17 victory at Queensland Country Bank Stadium last weekend.

Their return strengthens Australia’s midfield options as Kiss looks to maintain continuity following his opening matches in charge.

Wallabies Maintain Squad Consistency

The squad features 19 forwards and 15 backs, with Kiss retaining the majority of the group selected for the Japan Tests.

Massimo de Lutiis, who became Wallaby No.1000 last weekend, has been retained and is in line to make his first international tour.

Full-back Tom Wright could also reach a significant milestone during the series. He has the opportunity to earn his 50th Test cap in Mendoza.

Miles Amatosero Misses Argentina Tour

Lock Miles Amatosero was not considered for selection because of his suspension and will be unavailable for the opening Test in Jujuy.

The Wallabies will assemble in Sydney on Saturday before departing for Buenos Aires on Sunday.
