Queensland Reds will miss the services of number eight Harry Wilson for the remainder of the Super Rugby Pacific season due to injury.
The 24-year-old sustained a broken arm during the previous round game against Melbourne Rebels last Friday and has underwent a surgery since then.
He is now expected to be on the sidelines for at least eight weeks which means he will miss the remaining three league games for Reds along with further three weeks of finals should they qualify.
"Wilson had successfully undergone surgery on the broken right arm he sustained against the Melbourne Rebels last Friday night at Suncorp Stadium," read a statement from Reds.
"Wilson had surgery on Saturday and it is estimated the recovery period will be eight weeks".
Queensland Reds are positioned fifth in the Super Rugby Pacific table with six wins from 11 matches.
