Racing 92 have confirmed that Luke Jones along with his Australian team-mate Kurtley Beale will join the Top14 club ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Jones started his career with Western Force in 2010 and featured for Melbourne Rebels in a two separate stint. He also has the experience of playing for Melbourne Rising and Bordeaux Begles.

The former Australia Under 20 international made his Wallabies debut in 2014 and featured in six Tests. He was named in the warm-up squad of World Cup leading into the tournament but missed out on the final squad.

Earlier, Beale confirmed his exit with Waratahs after being part of the New South Wales based side in three separate stints.

“We’ve tried to mix youth and experience in positions where we haven’t managed to pull through from our academy,” said Racing’s sporting director Yannick Nyanga.

“We have two premium signings who will bring some experience and their ability.”

Both the players are expected to be part of Australia's local Super Rugby competition that is expected to kick-off in July before heading to the French side.
