Jack Willis retains Top 14 Player of the Year Award
Jack Willis has been named Top 14 Player of the Year for a second straight season after helping Toulouse win a fourth consecutive title.

Toulouse flanker Jack Willis has been named Top 14 Player of the Year for the second successive season after another influential campaign with the French champions.
The 29-year-old beat Bordeaux-Bègles fly-half Matthieu Jalibert and Clermont’s Harry Plummer to the award at the 22nd Nuit du Rugby, France’s annual professional rugby awards ceremony.
Willis rewarded after another Toulouse title
Willis made 23 Top 14 appearances and scored six league tries during the 2025/26 campaign as Toulouse secured a fourth consecutive Bouclier de Brennus.
The England international played a major role in the 28-20 final victory over Montpellier at the Stade de France, finishing with 17 tackles and four turnovers before being named Player of the Match.
His latest individual honour follows his first Top 14 Player of the Year award in 2025.
Willis matches rare Dupont achievement
Willis becomes only the second player to win the award in consecutive seasons, matching Toulouse team-mate Antoine Dupont, who claimed back-to-back honours in 2023 and 2024.
He is also only the second English player to receive the award after Zach Mercer, who was recognised following Montpellier’s title-winning 2021/22 campaign.
Bielle-Biarrey and Brau-Boirie also honoured
France and Bordeaux-Bègles winger Louis Bielle-Biarrey was named French International Player of the Year, while Pau centre Fabien Brau-Boirie received the season’s breakthrough player award.
Provence Rugby’s Setareki Bituniyata was named Pro D2 Player of the Year, while Montpellier and Vannes received the Top 14 and Pro D2 coaching staff awards respectively.
Pau centre Émilien Gailleton completed the major men’s honours by winning the award for Try of the Year.
