Saracens have confirmed the signing of tighthead prop Josh Ibuanokpe from Gallagher Premiership rivals Harlequins ahead of the 2019/20 season.
The 23-year-old has been part of the Quins Academy in 2014 with his professional rugby debut coming during the 2017/18 season of Anglo-Welsh Cup. He has made 10 appearances for Harlequins including seven this season and has scored a solitary try.
Ibuanokpe is excited to be part of Saracens and is aiming to propel his career with the Allianz Park outfit.
“Saracens have a history of developing young players and I’m excited to see how far my game can develop with them,” he said.
“I know a few of the players at the club and they’ve spoken about the tight-knit nature of the squad.”
Meanwhile, Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall is pleased to obtain the services of Ibuanokpe.
“We are excited to have signed a player of Josh’s potential and look forward to working with him at Saracens," he said.
