Jersey hooker TJ Harris joins Wasps on short-term loan deal

Wasps have secured the signing of Jersey hooker TJ Harris on a short-term loan deal with immediate effect.

The 26-year-old has already represented the Ricoh Arena based club between 2017 and 2019 making six Premiership appearances for them. He will be available for Wasps ahead of their upcoming Gallagher Premiership encounter against Saracens to be played this Saturday.

Wasps head coach Lee Blackett believes Harris will provide the right cover in the squad.

"Following Monday’s game, we needed to bring in cover for the hooker position," he told the official website of the club.

"TJ has proven quality and, as he already knows the club, will fit in straight away."

Wasps are positioned fourth in the Gallagher Premiership table with nine wins from 17 games.
