Harlequins condemned London Welsh to their 12th straight Aviva Premiership defeat of the season but not before the bottom side gave them a scare or two.

An understrength Harlequins side were made to work exceptionally hard before running out 24-13 victors at the Kassam Stadium.

Welsh were the better side in the first half but missed several opportunities, enabling Harlequins to take a 12-10 lead into the break.

And although they continued to challenge in the second period, Harlequins were far more clinical and took their chances to claim a bonus point victory.

Karl Dickson, Marland Yarde, Tom Williams and replacement Kyle Sinclair all scored tries and Tim Swiel kicked two conversions for Harlequins.

Paul Rowley scored a try for London Welsh, which Will Robinson converted as well as adding two penalties.

However, those points weren't enough and the Premiership's bottom side continue their hunt for an elusive win.
