Glasgow flanker Tyrone Holmes sidelined by injury

Glasgow flanker Tyrone Holmes faces four months on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on a foot injury.

Holmes picked up the injury while playing in an 'A' team match against Edinburgh.

Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend, whose team host Leinster in the Guinness Pro12 on Saturday, said: "We all feel for Tyrone, who has had some bad luck with injuries during the past two seasons.

"He had started the season in good form and had been working hard in training."
