The Premiership game between Newcastle Falcons and Worcester Warriors scheduled on Friday at Kingston Park has been postponed due to Storm Arwen.

The decision follows after the Met office has issued a red warning as winds of up to 100mph is expected in the areas hit by the storm.

The game has now been rescheduled to Saturday at 18:00 GMT.

"In light of the red weather warning from the Met Office and for the safety of our players, spectators and staff, the decision has been made to move the game to Saturday 27th November 27. Kick-off will be at 6pm.

"All tickets and hospitality will be automatically transferred to Saturday."

Newcastle Falcons are positioned seventh in the Gallagher Premiership table with four wins from seven games while Worcester are at 12th place with two wins from eight matches.

Widely regarded as the most competitive rugby union league in the world...it can only be the Gallagher Premiership.
