Danny Cipriani's England career dreams took a huge setback after being overlooked by head coach Eddie Jones for the upcoming clash against Wales and the three-Test tour of Australia.

Bath fly-half George Ford has been picked over Cipriani whereas Ollie Devoto has been chosen for backup.

The Wasps bound 28-year-old apparently has failed to impress Jones during last week's three-day training camp in Brighton.

Jones believes the door is still open for Cipriani, however, he needs improvement to oust the two present Bath fly-half.

"It's never the end. The door is always open. He came down to Brighton and put his best foot forward.

"He's got some work to do on his game if he's going to dislodge the other two boys."

England's side for the one-off match against Wales at Twickenham on 29th of May has been bolstered by presence of players from Leicester and Wasps, who lost their respective Premiership rugby semi-final clash last weekend.

Players from Saracens and Exeter, who will compete in the Premiership final on Saturday 28th of May, are unavailable to Jones.
