England lose Cunningham-South for training Camp

England will be without Chandler Cunningham-South and Benhard Janse van Rensburg for their three-day training camp ahead of next month’s Nations Championship fixtures after both were ruled out through injury.

Head coach Steve Borthwick named a 36-player group for the camp at England’s Performance Centre at Pennyhill Park, with uncapped pair Kepueli Tuipulotu and Archie McParland among those selected.

Cunningham-South and Janse van Rensburg miss camp

Cunningham-South and Bristol Bears centre Janse van Rensburg will not take part in the three-day gathering as England begin preparations for their November internationals.

Bath forward Tuipulotu and Northampton Saints scrum-half McParland are both uncapped and have been included in Borthwick’s squad.

Seb Atkinson, Immanuel Feyi-Waboso and Guy Pepper have also been named but are listed as undergoing injury rehabilitation.

Fin Baxter returns after injury comeback

Harlequins prop Fin Baxter returns to the England set-up after making his comeback from a 10-month injury lay-off against Saracens on Sunday.

Sale Sharks centre Joe Marchant has also been recalled, marking his first England call-up since the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Marchant returned to the Gallagher Prem with Sale ahead of the 2026/27 season following two seasons in France with Stade Français.

England face Australia on Sunday, November 8, before hosting Japan on November 14 and New Zealand on November 21.
