Christian Lio-Willie commits to Crusaders for 2023 and 2024 seasons

Crusaders have confirmed the signing of Christian Lio-Willie for the 2023 and 2024 seasons from Super Rugby rivals Highlanders.

Born in Auckland, the 23-year-old made his professional rugby debut with Otago in 2021 and a year later went on to feature for Highlanders.

He will continue to play for Otago in the 2022 Bunnings Cup before heading to Crusaders for the 2023 pre-season.

"We are looking forward to seeing him continue to grow his game with us over the next two seasons!", read a statement from Crusaders.

Crusaders were the title winners during the 2022 Super Rugby Pacific campaign as they defeated Blues 21-7 in the final at Eden Park in Auckland.
